Do you deliver to Marshall?
Yes, and we install. It is about forty minutes east on I-20.
Tables, benches, beds and shelving built to the room — for Marshall's older houses, and for the bed and breakfast trade that fills up every December.
The houses that went up while Marshall was one of the largest towns in Texas were built to a different scale — high ceilings, long rooms, wide hallways, and fireplaces sitting where no modern floor plan would put them. A standard bookcase stops a foot short of the picture rail. A catalog dining table looks stranded in a room built for twelve.
That cuts the other way too. The alcoves either side of a chimney breast are never the same width, doorways in those houses are narrower than they look, and a modern bed frame frequently will not go up the stair. Building to the room is how those problems stop being problems.

Marshall fills up for Wonderland of Lights from late November to New Year's Day, and again for the Fire Ant Festival, Market on the Square and Taco Fest through the year. That supports a real bed and breakfast and small-lodging trade in exactly the sort of old houses described above.
Furnishing a guest house is not furnishing a home. Pieces have to take strangers' use, match across several rooms, and be repairable rather than replaceable when something gets knocked. Built rather than bought makes more sense there than almost anywhere, and a run of matching pieces costs less per piece than one-offs.

Dining and farmhouse tables at whatever length the room takes. Bed frames, including to fit rooms and stairs that will not take a modern frame. Benches for halls and porches. Console and sofa tables built to the wall. Bookcases and shelving run to the real ceiling height. Window seats. Coffee tables. Blanket chests. Children's step stools. Plant stands. Kitchen islands.
Grace Woodwork is several people, and on a multi-room job that is the whole difference. Six matching bed frames do not take six times as long as one. A guest house does not wait while one person works through the list in order. A larger commission is a job we can take rather than one we have to turn down.

With measurements and a photograph of the room. From there we talk timber, finish, price and timing, and nothing is cut until you have a real number. If it is a multi-room job, say so at the start and we will plan it in stages rather than have you wait on everything at once. Marshall is about forty minutes down I-20 and we deliver and install.

Yes, and it costs less per piece than one-offs. That is common for guest houses and lodging.
That is most of what this is — alcoves that are not equal, doorways narrower than they look, stairs a modern frame will not go up.
Pine, oak and cedar most often, and reclaimed timber when a piece calls for it.
The shop is in Kilgore and we travel from here — as far as Lufkin when the job is worth the drive.
A phone picture is plenty. We will tell you what it needs, what it will cost and roughly how long it will take — before you commit to anything.
