Can you build to a specific size?
That is most of what this is. Bring measurements, or we will come and take them. Building to the room is the whole reason to have something made rather than bought.
Tables, benches, beds and shelving built to the room they are going in. The shop is in Kilgore and everything is made here, to your measurements.
Kilgore's housing mostly went up between the 1930s boom and the 1960s, and houses from that stretch were not built around today's furniture. Dining rooms are narrower. Hallways are tighter. Bedrooms in the boom-era houses were sized for a different kind of life. Anyone who has tried to fit a shop-bought eight-seater into a 1940s dining room already knows the problem.
Building to the room solves it in a way that shopping around never quite does. A table nine inches shorter than any standard size, a bench that fits the bay, shelving that runs to the actual ceiling height rather than stopping awkwardly short.

Dining tables and farmhouse tables. Benches, including the stepped and staggered ones that suit a hallway or a porch. Bed frames. Console and sofa tables. Bookcases and open shelving. Coffee tables. Step stools for children. Plant stands. Blanket chests. Kitchen islands. If it is made of wood and it needs to fit a particular space, it is worth asking about.

Grace Woodwork is several people, which matters more than it sounds. It means a large build does not sit waiting on one person, a set of six chairs does not take six times as long as one, and a kitchen's worth of work is a job we can actually take rather than one we have to turn down.

With a measurement and an idea. A photograph of something similar helps, even if it is off the internet — it says more about what you actually want than a description does. From there we will talk about wood, finish, what it will cost and how long it will take, and none of it starts until you have a real number.

Often, yes. Bring a photo or the piece itself and we will talk about wood, profile and finish. An exact match to an old finish is hard to promise, but we will get close and tell you honestly how close.
Pine, oak and cedar most often, and reclaimed timber when a piece calls for it. What suits depends on the job, the room and the budget, and that is a conversation rather than a menu.
Longer than a repair, and it depends on what is already in the shop. You will get a realistic time before you commit, not an optimistic one.
Everything is made in the Kilgore shop. Delivery and installation across East Texas — Longview and Gladewater are a few minutes, and we have taken work as far as Lufkin when the job justified the drive. If you are further out than that, ask anyway.

A phone picture is plenty. We will tell you what it needs, what it will cost and roughly how long it will take — before you commit to anything.
