Will you come and measure?
Yes, and at twenty minutes it is easy. Most disappointments with made-to-order furniture start with a measurement taken over the phone.
Tables, benches, beds and shelving built to measure for New London — built plainly and solidly, and built so they can be repaired later.
New London is a short run from the shop, which means we can come and measure the room rather than working from numbers over the phone. That takes twenty minutes and removes most of the ways a made-to-order piece can disappoint — the doorway it has to come through, the thing it has to sit beside, the wall that is not quite the length you thought.

Most of what gets asked for around here is straightforward and meant to last: a table long enough for the whole family, bench seating that takes more people than chairs do, shelving that holds what is put on it. Simple joinery done well outlasts complicated joinery done quickly, and it is easier to repair in twenty years.
Everything we build is put together so it can be taken apart and fixed rather than thrown away.

Dining and farmhouse tables. Benches. Bed frames. Blanket chests. Bookcases and shelving. Coffee tables. Children's step stools. Plant stands. Kitchen islands. Feed, tack and workshop storage. Church and hall furniture — communion tables, lecterns, pew repairs and fellowship hall tables that seat properly and store flat.

Grace Woodwork is several people, so a set of matching pieces does not take proportionally longer than one, and a job with a date on it does not sit waiting on a single person.
Tell us roughly what you want and we will come and measure. Then timber, finish, price and timing, and nothing is cut until you have a real number. Delivery and installation is a twenty-minute run.

Usually. Tell us the number at the start — there is more than one way to build most things.
Yes. Communion tables, lecterns, pew repairs and hall tables, quoted plainly.
Pine, oak and cedar most often, and reclaimed timber when a piece calls for it.
A phone picture is plenty. We will tell you what it needs, what it will cost and roughly how long it will take — before you commit to anything.
