Do you deliver to Longview?
Yes, and we install. The shop is in Kilgore, about twenty minutes down Highway 259.
Tables, benches, beds and shelving built to the room they are going in — for Longview houses old and new, and for the downtown apartments where nothing standard fits.
There is the older stock in the central neighborhoods — the Hundred Acre townsite, South Main, White City — where rooms were laid out for a different century and a standard eight-seat table will not clear the doorway, let alone the walls. And there is everything built since, out toward the newer subdivisions, where the rooms are bigger but oddly proportioned and a catalog piece leaves a foot of dead space at one end.
Then there is downtown itself, which is now a third category. Old office buildings have been rehabilitated into apartments, and those are wonderful spaces with brick walls, tall windows and floor plans that no furniture manufacturer has ever measured. Building to the room is the only thing that really works in them.

Dining and farmhouse tables at whatever length the room will take. Benches, including the stepped and staggered kind that work in a hallway or on a porch. Bed frames. Console and sofa tables sized to the wall rather than to a catalog. Bookcases and open shelving run to the actual ceiling height. Coffee tables. Blanket chests. Children's step stools. Plant stands. Kitchen islands.

Eastman and Dana have anchored this economy for decades, and more has arrived since — the pair of million-square-foot distribution warehouses built for Old Navy and Gap, an announced second molecular recycling plant at Eastman's Longview site, and planned work at East Texas Regional Airport. People move here for jobs like those, buy houses, and then need the house filled.
A new arrival furnishing a whole house is a different customer from someone replacing one table, and both are welcome. If it is a larger job, say so at the start and we will plan it in stages rather than have you wait on everything at once.
Grace Woodwork is several people, which matters more than it sounds. A big build does not sit waiting on one person. A set of six chairs does not take six times as long as one. A whole house worth of furniture is a job we can actually take rather than one we have to turn away.

With a measurement and an idea. A photograph of something similar helps more than a description, even one off the internet — it tells us what you actually like. From there we talk timber, finish, price and timing. Nothing is cut until you have a real number. Delivery to Longview is a twenty-minute run, and we install rather than leaving it in the driveway.

That is most of what this is. Bring measurements or we will come and take them ourselves.
Often. Bring a photo or the piece itself. An exact match to an old finish is hard to promise, but we will get close and tell you honestly how close.
Pine, oak and cedar most often, and reclaimed timber when a piece calls for it. What suits depends on the job, the room and the budget.
The shop is in Kilgore and we travel from here — as far as Lufkin when the job is worth the drive.
A phone picture is plenty. We will tell you what it needs, what it will cost and roughly how long it will take — before you commit to anything.
